Overview

South Jersey Fertility Center (SJFC) is the premier provider of fertility care in South Jersey.  We have a long history of success in providing assistance to infertile couples. We offer comprehensive, state-of-the-art fertility care in a friendly, comfortable environment, at a reasonable cost.  Dr. Robert Skaf, and  Dr. Gary Packin, each with over 25 years of experience, established the first IVF centers in South Jersey. Dr Skaf is the Director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Virtua Health and Dr Packin is Director at Kennedy Health System.  SJFC, founded by Dr. Skaf, was the first center in the area to offer IVF in an outpatient setting, and remains the longest continuously operating IVF center in South Jersey.   Dr Peter Van Deerlin and Dr. Stephen Sawin both trained together at the University of Pennsylvania, and bring special expertise in cutting-edge fertility techniques.  One such technique is Pre-implantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD), where embryos can be screened for abnormalities before being transferred back to the mother to be.  SJFC was one of the first, if not the first center in South Jersey to have a successful birth from PGD technology.  SJFC is the only multi-physician fertility center in South Jersey in which all the physicians are board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.  Our doctors are frequently voted as "Top Docs" in South Jersey publications.  Over 100 referring physicians have placed their trust in us, but our biggest source of referrals is from satisfied patients we have cared for. 

We have three convenient locations in southern New Jersey.  Our main office is located in Marlton (near Cherry Hill). We also have an office in Egg Harbor Twp (near Atlantic City, NJ), and Sewell (Gloucester County).   At our Marlton office, we offer evening appointments (until 8PM) four days a week for the convenience of couples that work during the day. We are open early in the morning (7AM) for the ultrasound exams that are often needed in order to monitor fertility treatment, and this allows time for our working patients to arrive at their day jobs on time. At every visit, including ultrasound monitoring, you will be seen by and speak with one of our physicians or nurse practitioners. At SJFC every patient receives special treatment.  We pride ourselves in the individualized care we give to our patients.

Our pregnancy rates from In-vitro Fertilization (IVF) are consistently above the national average. IVF egg retrievals are performed in our fertility center located in Marlton, NJ, allowing our patients to avoid the added costs and inconvenience of a hospital admission.
